Events Organiser - NRMA

DCA Worldwide contracted Donald MacKee on behalf of the Canadian Tourism Commission, to host 5 travel trade exposition events throughout Australia.

The events were creatively styled in the format of a live television game-show, with Donald playing the show’s host. Each event lasted for up to 2 hours, so Donald had the tricky task to warm up the audience with a humorous monologue, then control the show and work with each of the 17 presenters to make sure that the show was not just entertaining but also educational.

With events in all 5 Australian capital cities, it required a demanding schedule of early morning flights, short turnarounds and the ability to cooperate and coordinate with over 17 different presenters and adapting to their individual presenting styles.

His hours of detailed script preparation, creative ideas and development with the event producer and his friendly disposition endeared him to all of our presenters, earning him a recall in 2015.

Above all, we enjoyed high attendance levels, great feedback from attendees and the envy of our competitors in creating a creative showcase for our travel products and services.

Donald MacKee was an integral part of the whole process and we thank him for his dedication to its success. He comes highly recommended for clients holding similar multi-day, multi-location events where more is required than just another event emcee.
